Alphonsus Okpara Jr. is first generation Nigerian and a native of Houston, Texas. He attended and played collegiate football for Boston College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and History. After that, he went on to pursue his legal education at Florida Coastal School of Law, where he obtained his Juris degree.

After returning to the great state of Texas, Alphonsus passed the bar exam and began working immediately as a general practitioner with a focus on personal injury and family law in the greater Houston area. Alphonsus comes to the Scott M. Brown and Associates with years of diverse experience and a daily drive to help his clients. He has a diverse background that allows him to better understand and communicate with his clients. Alphonsus makes it a mission to ensure that every single client is treated with respect, kindness, and attentiveness.

When he is not working, Alphonsus enjoys playing sports on the weekend and visiting new restaurant. He is a die-hard Houstonian, so he loves all things Houston, especially the Houston Texans. He also loves hanging out with his family and enjoying all that life has to offer.
